looking to order a split retaining collar and get rid of the snap ring.Does anyone know the diameter either in inches or mm of the output shaft.......i know there is this http://www.drivetrain.com/gillies/Tcasesaver.html, but i can order the collar from a supplier for just $8.00

 

You had better pull yours apart and find out, from what the "4X4 pro's" tell me there have been many, many revisions to the 241 DHD transfercase. Some have a one piece tail shaft housing and some (like the picture) have the two piece unit.
