a no start problem
a no start problem
Hi all, last week I had a no start, so to get it to go I lifted up on the fuel stop plunger and she will start, so I replace the fuel stop solinoid, and the relay, and she still once in awhile I have to lift the hood and pull up the plunger to start.
Any ideas what to check?
thanks in advance.

Well I just found out what my problem is, Lordco sold me the wrong relay, they sold me the smaller one, heater grid relay.I have just ordered the bigger one which goes on the firewall. So we will see on Tue.

I would check the fusible link wires on the battery, they power the solenoid and corrosion on terminals causes a voltage drop. Give the wire a gentle tug if it is like a rubber band the fusible link wire has burnt out. Good Luck
Thanks for that, I did check, and found they are good and clean.
