Before I order a new TPS,is there any other reason for the trans to not move past 2nd gear?It works fine in reverse,1st and 2nd,but I get no 3rd or OD.Its a 97 with a BD trans with a billet convertor and the ram to control trans pressure(cant remember the name).It worked great for a couple years,and now its acting up.I tried cleaning the TPS,but no luck.Fresh Amsoil syn and filter,no shavings in the deep Mag pan.Ive also noticed that if you let off the throttle abruptly when under power,there is a bit of compressor surge that wasnt there before.The RPMS drop like a rock when you let off and theres almost no engine braking.
Ive also got an ABS and Brake light on.Ive already replaced the rear ABS sensor once,so Im kinda hoping its not bad again.Is there any connection between the ABS sensor and the trans?(Doubles as a VSS maybe?)
