NV4500 lost 3rd and 4th
I have a friend with a 98 12 5spd 4x4 with 160k very VERY hard miles on it. he has a slid stock plate and 370's injectors. while trying to pass my other friend with the same truck different color he snapped the main shaft in the tranny. he limped home on 1st 2nd and 5th because he lost 3rd and 4th 
the shaft and seal kit cost 1800 buch to repair 
and to think he wanted a #10 plate just last week :
