I was reading up on wastegates and read a lot of them being plugged and not workin properly giving low power or poor fuel economy. How do i know if mine is working properly, i do not have gauges so I cannot tell though psi levels. Any thoughts??

 

If it were stuck open, that would be the only condition where you would get loss of power or poor fuel economy. I don't know how you would check without a boost gauge. Me personally I have waste gate disconnected, my max boost is 26 psi and that's lower than what the turbo's rated for so I don't have to worry about over spooling.
