I was inspecting my AFC housing just to locate the wastegate hose connection that everyone is always talking about disconnecting. Upon inspection the only line coming from the back of the housing is the one about an 1/8" that goes over to the side of the head. I noticed in a pic when doing a search that the fitting it showed had the rubber line and this smaller one. Is it safe to assume that someone had already done away with the line for the wastegate considering the fitting is just a 90 degree elbow with only one connection. If the line where there where would it connect to after the AFC housing, I would like to check and see that this is plugged since I have no line. Thanks.

 

Sounds like someone has already removed the line.
