had shop installnew lift pump was clicking, ive done 3k gov springs
12 months ago, ran great before pump change got 25 to 31 lbs boost
drove 1000 miles only got 16 lbs
took back to shop , he did something now at 22 lbs

says with 6 plate the top of the pump housing maybe binding on plate?

says may have to pull p7100 pump

can improperly installed gov springs cause this ?

also not getting lots of fuel past 2500 rpm

 

What pump came out and what pump went in? Move the plate forward and make sure you have a good connection to the AFC with no leaks. You could move that ahead to see if it helps it.

What will the engine rev to?

 

Make sure the AFC cover is slid all the way to the front.
