low boost
up until recently, my boost guage would peg out at 24psi. for some reason, it won't climb above 15psi now. the truck doesn't pull as hard and egt's seem slightly higher. what did i do?
also, if i let the truck sit up for a couple of days, it will drain the fuel in the line back to the tank. it will start fine and run for about 10 sec then die bc it runs out of fuel. is there a common place for it to leak or an easy way to find the leak? i'm assuming it's in the filter somewhere. i was going to try changing the filter and hoping that would fix it. thanks for the help

Finding an air leak can be difficult because they often don't leak diesel, just suck air.
Best way to find leaks is to pressurize the fuel tank, 10psi max, and listen/look with a flashlight.
There are a few places they usually leak though. The most frequent is the hose in red below.
Other places are the fuel heater and filter drain valve.
On the boost it could be your wastegate is stuck open.

i replaced that hose not too long ago bc it was pouring out fuel. it seems to go away for a little bit if i crack the filter drain valve and shut it again. what's the fix for this?
on the wastegate, if it is stuck open, do i spray some wd40 or what? how do i tell if that's it?

Sometimes the filter drain leaks because a piece of debris is stuck in it.
Have to remove and clean.
If you disconnect the hose to the wastegate actuator and pressurize it, 30 psi max, you will be able to see if it opens and closes.
Usually it's carbon that keeps it stuck and just working the gate back and forth will free it up.
