My wife's 95 12v sometimes when you start it up in the morning (50-70 degrees F outside, basically a average weather day) the engine is hard to start.. it seems like it only fires off 4 or 5 of the 6 cyls for about 15 seconds than smoothes out and stops being out of balance. I was wondering if this sounds like a delivery vavle leaking and lossing the prime in the injector line? Any other ideas?

 

You could try cracking all the lines going in the top of your injectors before start up. Have someone watch to see if fuel is being distributed eveny across all cylinders. Also check to see of there is a fuel leak comming from your dvs or possibly your rubber fuel lines.

rubber fuel lines leaking slightly. The overflow valve can also cause this. To see if the overflow is good, reach down and pump the prime button on the lift pump. The overflow valve will "honk" if it is good. This isn't very loud, and if you're on a busy street, the sound could be lost. I can hear it well when in a quiet place.
Don't forget, if the rubber fuel lines are leaking, you may have to pump several times to get the overflow valve to make any noise. If the valve "honks" after a few pumps, the rubber lines are likely at fault. That's at least the cheapest place to start.... 8)

My 94 did same thing,replaced a leaking fuel line solved it,two weeks later replacing other return line,They lasted 90k miles,hope this helps, Good luck Rick
