it's a 47re i got everything except the billett clutch drum, opted for the 48re with the extra clutch disk, didn't get the billet output shaft, got the intermediate and input shaft billet, "noisey" pump, tripple disc w/ 15 blade stator, magtech trans pan (accually it's the one that was on Garrett, Bobcat698's truck) and the sfi plate..... ya i was tired but now i can't sleep..... it's like i'm feening for my diesel smoke..... it'll be alright i'll prolly OD on it tomorrow....

first off for any of you that are consitering ANY OTHER BRAND i'd definately look into Dave Goerend's Transmissions..... HE IS THE MAN !!!!!! the trans shifts like i would have never imagined. it shifts REAL firm the converter is PERFECT...... it feels like i'm putting twice the HP and TQ to the ground over the stock tranny..... i am so happy that i don't have to wander when my truck will quit going..... this is the BEST money i have EVER invested in this truck..... i do know that i will recoment this to anyone who wants a quality piece of machinery and an awesome person on the other end for a Q&A guy..... did i mention i LOVE this tranny.....

thanx man.... i forgot that i did have some minor technical difficulties.... i replaced the rear main seal while i was in there... there wasn't anything wrong with it but i figured my luck it would start leaking in a few months..... well dodge/cummins whoever designed an expensive, retarded, seal and install method..... after putting the first one in with the supplied tool thing it went in too far on one side and was crooked.... and it couldn't be removed without being damaged..... so 2 $65 rear main seals later we had it in straight.... then my speedo didn't work..... had to reuse the orig sending unit gear driven thing and i had it clocked incorrectly... my bad...... and it took way more fluid than i expected..... 16 quarts.... but i did flush the cooler and all lines..... and the tranny and converter were dry.....

Sweet! I love my GB triple disc, and I cant wait to get a built one in mine when I finally tear this one out(hopefully it will be a while though). Hopefully when the time comes I can afford a billet input, and flexplate at least. And you are right. Dave is THE man for trannies. He left me his house phone number to call him back on when I was putting Teddy Bears tranny in for him, and I had a small question. he really is a great guy, and builds top notch stuff. I know my converter made my tranny drive night and day over the stock one.
