Smile long time rear wheel hop when braking solved!!

For those of you who have helped me beat my head trying to stop this mysterious problem, I thought I'd tell " The rest of the story..."
When I bought my truck, there was so much wrong with it, we took the " fix the obvious and unsafe first" approach. Sooo, after a complete new Moog front end, the truck would stay in one lane of traffic. Then the brakes seemed to take on a life of their own. Sometimes they seemed to be ok ( just not thrilled about the stopping distance), other times you'd grab the pedel and get pretty bad wheel hop from the back right wheel. The truck does have E rated 18" tires, so any slight vibration seems to be magnified. I used to have this same truck, but a v10 gas model, and I think for my next set of tires, I"ll go back with the mich. m/s tires I had on it....

So first, new shoes and drums. Planning on keeping the truck for the next 20 years, so why not just cover the basics first. Weird thing is that the problem did go away for 200 miles after replacing the rears. Then tried new wheel cylinder on the offending wheel. The bleeder screw was broken off, so whether it was sticking or not, it needed to be replaced. No improvement. Then finally the truck acted up when my husband drove it. Until this point, he had been giving me " the look" when I told him I felt it was unsafe pulling our horses. As I said, it only really acted up when it want to.
He pulled over on the spot and pulled the ABS fuse, just to see if there was any change. Tried panic stop, left front wheel locking up. He then drove it to work the next day, so he could put it on the lift and found the caliper slide pins froze up on the passenger side. He had removed the calipers and lubed them not long ago. ( the truck had the seemlingly typical problem of the boots not staying in) . After checking the rotors, found both to be under spec. So $300 later, we have two new rotors, pads, hoses, and calipers. The ABS fuse is back in place, and I'm still not impressed with the overall braking, but no more wheel hop. I have put 300 miles on the new setup, so I'm fairly confident it will not return. The rotor and pad from the drivers side had about 2x the wear as the passenger side. I find that odd, since my experience has been that the right side of the vehicle wears a little faster. At no point was there any pull in the steering wheel to indicate one side was working harder. So we have all new brakes, and time to start saving for the custom turbo and tuning the injection pump
Also- seats from an 01 model DO FIT. You just have to be creative with bolting them in. I'm liking my truck much better these days.......
Also finally finished my heat shield for the BHAF. I found we have a sheet metal brake where I work. Did I mention I made mine out of a sheet of polished stainless????
