It LIVES again!!!
It LIVES again!!!
A few weeks ago my 7100 pump packed it in, the barrel broke on the plunger element, after checking out my pump, it was best to replace it with a fresh rebuilt one. 2450 dollars later it's in, the , the injection shop suggested I have the injectors tested, after doing that we realized they were toast as well, so, new injectors, 360 dollars later, it's now time to light it up. Pump up some pressure, crack the injectors and crank it over in short bursts, fuel squirts from the injector lines, tighten them up, and it starts up, what a relief, after awhile of it not wanting to flash, you start wondering if the timing is right. She purrs like a lion ( somewhat noisier than a kitten ).
Thanks for all the articles and advice.
