ok i need to clean out the lift pump screen... my hanes manual has nothing on lift pump...i saw a thread on this but for some reason i cant do a search pc wount let me.? thread had i pic by pic of removal also deleted heater element and reinstall...can any one help with this...looks fairly simple.

 

On my '98 it is a small cone shaped screen slipped into the fitting on the inlet side of the pump. Pretty simple except hand clearance. Undo line, remove fitting from pump and the screen is there. Took a little ***** punch to pop it out.

umm my local dealer says dodge did away with lift pump and cant buy parts for it.. none of my auto stores now anything.. were do i find a cummins dealer tried a search but nothing....
