Leaking trans cooler line

I noticed I'm leaking trans fluid from the line that comes out of the unit under the turbo. I read this is some type of fluid warmer. Its the rear line at the conection under the rubber hose. So, I read that these can't be fixed, they need to be replaced. If so should I replace the line, or get some fitting and trans hose? I noticed you can find the lines from places other then the dealer for a fair price. Can someone who has had this issue enlighten me on my options.

Remove the line and take it to a place that makes up hydraulic hose to press on the correct fittings.
Much cheaper and longer lasting than OEM lines.

So I can fix the steel line, or are you taking about replacing it?

replace the hard lines w a quality flexible line. if you get the right fittings on the flexible lines theyll hook right up. get rid of the hardlines. jus make sure you find a way to leave the temp sensor in the cooler line out of the trans. its a bit important
