leaking tranny lines, quick fix?
two of my lines rubbed together and eventually made a hole in each line. its the steel lines going to and from the cooler.
could i be able to cut the section where the holes are and just reconnect with some rubber hose and clamps?

Yes you can do that. I replaced mine from the trans. to the cooler with hose, need to change the fitting on the transmission. Make sure the hose is rated for use with transmissions. If you are only cutting out the bad part I suggest you use two clamps on each end of the hose.

Hydraulic hose is too hard to clamp down, any hose that is resistant to hot oil will work.
Pressure in the lines never exceeds 10 psi, pressure isn't a worry.
Many people cut the line in just one place right where the leak is and slip the hose on rather than cutting out a section.
