I have a '94 3500 with 214,000 miles.

The valve that drains water from the fuel filter has started leaking fuel from the drain in the bottom of the filter.

I changed the filter & installed a new 27.00 valve.

The leak start back immediately

I am getting some sort of backpressure I guess?

I have never changed the fuel lines and they need replacing obviously.

What is causing the leak

From looking back into the posts. It sounds like I might have a lift pump failing or an overflow valve that is bad or both?

I think I would look at your overflow valve. They can cause high filter pressure when bad among other things.

 

Not to sound smart but where is the overflow valve?

I have no clue where the valve or what it looks like
