KDP killed!
KDP killed!
i took care of the KDP today. it was slightly out of the housing, i tapped it a few times and tabbed it. new gasket and seal. it was a fairly easy job. i also fixed my fuel sender. after removing it, i noticed the contactswre not making contact with the resistor due to play in the shaft. a new sender was $60 USD so i made a spacer out of plastic cut to the shape of the retainer bar. i zip tied it to the bar at the ends, works perfectlyand the 60 bucks can go in my pocket!

hence KDP.. Its best that you take care of it asap.. Order the TST kit, its super user friendly and easy to work with. I have a writeup on this.... Trust me, it can be done..
