Wasn't to bad killin that dow pin. Had more trouble with gitting the dang windshild washer bottle off and out of the way. Glad I didnt put it off any longer dow pin was sticking out about 3/8 of an inch. DTR should give a prize for the dow pin that sticks out the farthest without fallin out . Here is a shot of the pin before I smacked it back in. Went ahead and ran the valves had a couple that were off 15-20 thousands. RATTLE RATTLE. fired here up and everything seems ok. The kit I got from TST was good. Everything fit fine and good instructions. All that bending over is hard on a young man. Have to have a little Capt. Morgan to limber me up.

Ain't it a good feeling to know that is taken care of Mine was sticking out about the same as yours, not a good feeling to see that. You may want to check your starter contacts next, if you haven't already.

 

Yes it is a Great to have it done. Been tryin for three weeks to get to it. Tried four times pourin me a bed liner but hammered it out, just couldnt get the right texture.

 

its my back that scares me the most doin this myself. been havin troublew/it about a year. just can't do what i used to.
