Yes, Injection Pump p7100 from 94-98 engines. I wonder if the home mechanic could rebuild one of this, I hear from someone else that it is possible so I wonder if there is a text on how to do it.
Thank You.

To be done right, it should be done by a pump shop with a test stand. The previous owner of my truck had the pump rebuilt because of having run some awful things through it and it cost a little over $1grand.
Why do you need the pump rebuilt? These pumps tend to be very reliable.

Nothing, but I want to learn if it is available. I do run wvo on My truck now but is not a Ppump and seems to like it better, now the p7100 is lubricated by the engine oil that is a good advantage but sooner or latter they need rebuild specially if You don't fill up on the clean spots all the time.
Thank You.

If you want to tackle it, if you feel confident enough, go for it. We had to take some apart in diesel school. Not a whole lot to them. To get the most out of your rebuild, take it to a pump shop and have them set the cc's and then it will be good. The best thing about taking it to a pump shop is, you get a warranty, they are more familiar with it so you know it's right when you get it back, and you wont have a bad part still in it if you didn't know how to recognize the wear on crucial parts. I can understand where you're coming from though, I can't stand it when someone else works on my stuff too.
