Injectors?
My 94 has 224,000 on the clock. I have had 80 HP injectors for about 2 years. Injection pump rebuilt 1.5 years ago. New lift pump 2 years ago. I just replaced the fuel filter and just cleaned the pre filter tonight. Here is the problem....
When I take of I have to give more pedal than I used to. It is either loading up or not getting enough fuel. It almost seems like it is going die. I used to be ablt to take off from a dead start with little to no pedal. It will smoke white when not warmed up. Even in warmer weather. Really bad in cold weather. I am thinking my injector tips have enlarged and are dumping to much fuel during warm up and at idle. Causing it to load up? Is this possible? Can I put smaller HP tips on? Or is the injector body what controls the HP? Thanks...

my truck is doing the same thing. i cant find any fuel leaks and have a fass pump back by the tank so im thinking my injectors are the culprit. mine seems to clean up about the time the thermostat cycles. either that or fuel is somehow draining back out of the fass pump back into the tank. but it still sounds like air in the fuel to me. draw straw mabie. the tips are what controll how much fuel are passed but the bodie controlls at what bar they are injected at. mabie get your sticks pop tested.
