injector is stuck!!!

Well today i was changing out my 370 marine injectors and going back to stock(couldn't stand the stumble and way too much smoke). the first three went smooth but the fourth one was seized on. we tried for 2 hours to get it out, it wouldn't budge with vice grips and prying on it with a nut on top. it just wouldn't move, had the same problem with #6 as well. so as of right now i have cylinders 1-3 and 5 with stock injectors and 4 and 6 with 370's in them. it starts up and runs pretty rough(to be expected). i was wondering if there was something that i could spray on there or another way to loosen it up. i have no other way to get to work on monday and need to get this taken care of. thanx in advance guys.

You can try PB blaster.. that works well. Also I think theres a tool from cummins or snap-on to remove the injectors that may give you a better bite (?)

I think this was Infidels suggestion that I used and it worked exellent.
You need a piece of pipe just large enough to slide over the injector (3/4" ID roughly) and 1 3/8" long. Slide it over the injector and then take one of your wheel lug nuts and thread it onto the injector (I used a flat washer on top of the pipe also) and presto a perfect puller! Pulls the injector out perfectly straight.

Yup that works well

I did it for four of mine, and then i was afraid to twist anymore cause i thought id break my injectors... I had two that were really really stuck, took a slide hammer and three hours at a shop just to remove them, they were rusted in somehow... But the lugnut method works really well.. ive removed my 370s just playing around... and it is the best method overall...

thanks for the help guys, i ordered the slide hammer and the adapter and i will go buy the shop and try the pipe lug nut combo. i was wondering if i can drive a few days with the mismatched injectors? i drove it home from the shop and it ran alright(not as bad as missing a cylinder, just a miss almost). im going to go fishing tomorrow so i probably wont be able to work on it? thanks again for the help this site is great.
