I have been trying to find the normal popoff pressures for 215 hp 12 valve injectors, and the allowable variation from the norm. So far I have been unable to phrase a question that researches an answer. Can any of you provide an answer or referral to an information source? Thanks, Charlie.

 

I can't be of direct help, but call up your local diesel injection shop. They can tell you, assuming they wiil that is.

 

260 bar or 3770 psi

plus or minus 8 bar

I went straight to the 370's. Thought about 215's before that. These things are great. Smoke isn't a problem, IF you can keep from planting the go pedal.

 

I'm afraid my stock transmission, even with the Transgo couldn't handle much more than the 215's. My wife would squawk loudly if I blew another 3 or 4 grand on transmission work. If you hear of a set of 215's available, let me know. Charlie.
