Question Injector life

I'm thinking of buying a set of 80K mile 215hp injectors from someone and I was wondering if, with that many miles can they still be expected to flow good as aset or should I take them to a shop to have them checked?

That's not very many miles, but with any used injectors it would be a good idea to have them checked.

Steve is right, a faulty injector can ruin an engine rather quickly. A friend had an injector go bad on one of his Volvo's; where the broken fuel pattern squirted on the cylinder wall it eroded a groove and ruined both the piston and cyl liner.

I would Have them Checked. I am getting ready to send mine out. I found a place that will do them at a good price and has a quick turn around on them. PM me if you want. I am not sure if I can give out Company Names on the forum.

My local John Deere dealer will check injectors for $3/ea.
No excuse not to do it, the trouble it could save is well worth $18
