Wondering what the injector life expectancy is? Considering upgrading my stock injectors with a set of nozzles.

I must have stumped em

 

My stockersw were good for about 100 000 kms. Then I noticed increased smoke and worse cold idle. My Mach3s have been in for about 180 000 kms and still performed like day one when I swent them to Don for checking. He stated that they wee like new. (And was astounded of the diesel quality we have over here)

Well, I'm at 126K miles and runs fine...

 

I would not put nozzles on high mileage stock injectors, unless I had a good local shop to inspect, test, and refurbish them before using. JMO.

The shop I have dealt with, told me most stock diesel injectors look pretty badly worn at 150,000 miles.

I'm thinking over a 100k miles, time to replace the entire injector.
