Push your luck, you'll have to replace it eventually, but, if it ain't broke dont fix it.

The question is...how long can you afford to have your truck down for?? Do you have a clutch on hand ready to go in?

I had about 125,000 on mine, no mods, very little towing, overall light foot. It wasnt toast, I had it replaced when fifth went out, but was worn.

My cousin has a 94 with 250000 + miles on the original. He runs a plate and gsk. The truck is always blowin smoke and pullin trailers, but he does'nt have any plans of a new clutch. Just don't slip it on purpose.

How long have you had your clutch. Peter has redone the pedal pressure on the 3850's and mine is half what my first one was.

Hmm sounds like yours must be stiffer than mine. They do tend to soften up a little after the first couple of hooks to the sled
