How to empty my fuel tank?

Have a crashed '95 with a full tank. I tried to run a small hose in the fill spout to pump it out but hit an obstruction. What do I need to do?

Climb under and remove the fill tube from the tank and stick your siphon hose in.
The obstruction you're hitting is the rollover ball, keeps the fuel in when the truck is upside down.

i'm available to take all that extra fuel off your hands. i wouldn't want you to have to waste it.

hi
on the top of the fuel /sending unit module you will find a port sticking up with a ruber cap held by a spring clamp .
squeze the clamp remove the rubber cap , hook up a 5/16 hose from a elect fuel pump and you will be able to remove all but a few gallons of fuel !

Thanks guys. The funny/sad thing is I went to all the work of taking the bed off to remove the gooseneck hitch for a guy who SWORE he would buy it. He will not answer his phone now. Karma will catch up to him! I was so busy with farming I did not take time to empty the tank, figured I would just stick a hose in it........

Cheapskate, if you drive out, I will give you 5 gallons. Heck I bought a bus for cheap that had 80 gallons in it!
