Exclamation How to check fuel pressure??? low boost?

Hi folks, ive been tracking down a performance issue for a while here. First off i have a #8 TST power kit in my truck. It only builds about 23 psi Max. I disconnected the wastegate and it will go to 32. The TST boys said it should build nearly 40 psi disconnected! They think it might be fuel issue, or if someone else has the # 8 plate, you can chime in and tell me whats normal.

Anyway, they said i need to check fuel pressure. I know theres a bleeder screw on the filter: 2 questions:
-Is that the best place to check pressure to find out if i have an obstruction or pump issue.
-What fitting do i need to do this? I can round up a gauge.

Thanks for the help as always!!
Brian
