honing injectors

well, now that i've decided to ditch the 370 marine injectors, i have heard of getting the stock one's honed. what does this do and what else can you do to the stock injectors to make them delivery more fuel. Can i send them in somewhere to get this done, and how much does it usually run. thanks, and i since i'm going back to the stock injectors i will probably be selling the 370's soon to whoever is interested(they have 4000 miles on them).
