again my advance auto reman World Class starter is junk again; this one lasted almost 2 months.
I'm thinking of upping to a different brand (Remy I think) to continue the warranty.
There doesn't seem to be any alignment issues; however I did notice that the draincock on my fuel filter has a very slight leak & drips down onto the starter-would that cause any issues with shortening its life??

LarryB sells an OEM starter .......... That is what I would do next.

 

It will be a replace it at least once a year thing as long as you use the typical auto parts starters.
Buy a OEM and be done with it.
Better yet never turn your OEM in for a core, rebuild it instead.

The Chinese auto parts starters wear out prematurely even if fuel doesn't drip on them.
It couldn't help though...
