Went out to my truck today to check oil and fluids... Truck has sat for a few days. When I took the radiator cap off, some coolant overflowed like there was built up pressure. I know the coolant system is pressurized, so I'm guessing this is normal. But I was just wondering if it's supposed to stay pressurized like that.

If the system is in good shape it could stay pressurized for a few days.

 

It's in real good shape. I just didn't expect to have it jump out at me like that. Thanks!
