Harmonic Balancer

My harmonic balancer developed a wobble and has rubber chunks coming off it, need a new one but no one seems to be able to get one for diesel engines, not looking for a fluid damper, just something oe. Anyone know where a good place/price.

Thanks,

Dave

Yeah, Cummins is usually the place to get things for the engine. They're always top notch quality, and tend to have surprisingly cheap prices as well!

Best to spend the $160 and not cheap out looking for a deal on something like this...Not good for the crank if its has a wobble...

Is there a big difference between stock and a fluid dampener?

To my understanding the only real reason to go with a fluid damper is if you want to run in excess of 3000 rpm for extended periods.
Otherwise the stocker does just just fine.
