Greasing the shocks?
Ah yes, prevantive maintenance. While I don't intend to sound like it is time to change my blinker fluid or swap out my muffler bearings (I rid of that part when it wore out anyway
), but I just put new shocks in all 4 corners of my truck and I'll be damned if all four of them don't let out this annoying squeak when I hit bumps. What is the deal? Surely I don't need to grease the shocks do I? I just doused the bushing ends with some PB Blaster to give me a break from that awful noise, but I don't expect that fix to last.
Thanks in advance.

If you have regular squeaking from the mounting bushings, pick up some "Slip Plate" graphite paint from a John Deere dealer, and spray the bushings inside and out. It will dry and eliminate the bushing squeak forever. Do not ever lube the shafts on the shocks, that will dry out the wipers and cause permanent damage.
