i am thinking about taking the 350 out of my 89 GMC Suburban and putting in a 12 valve. might be needing some advice and help from you guys here. it will be a little while before it is done but i am thinking hard about doing it. what am i about to get myself into and can anyone that has done something like this give em some pointers and advice about going about this. this is my first time trying this so any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

 

I though about doin this to all I can tell u from what I asked around is you want to use the dodge trans. They already make alot of things to this converion there shouldn't b that much of an issue doin it.

 

Yeah lots of parts out there to swap the cummins in almost anything. If it is a half ton burban you might need to strengthen the front end by boxing it and putting 3/4 springs on the front. The engine it self is 1100 pounds, and the diesel needs a lot more cooling than the little 350.
