Tips on changing oil pressure sender on 12v?
My pressure sender is all out of whack. It reads low at high rpms and ok at idle. My guess is something is wrong with the sender.
Whats the easiest way to get at this thing. It looks like its right behind the power steering pump and is a real PITA to get at.
If I can make it to the cummins parts place tonight Im going to buy an OEM replacement since I hear the aftermarkets are junk.
Plan is to take off the inner fender and see if I can reach up in there from the wheel side.

Get a sending unit socket from your local auto parts store. They range from $5-10 and worth every nickel.
I laid on the ground behind the front tire and had my changed in about 15 minutes.
Here is the Cummins item number 3923200 from my notes
