Fuel Plate Mod
Fuel Plate Mod
Years back after a major trans mod I had a number 10 plate installed for power reasons. Now I don't need that much fuel or power or lots of smoke. How do I change the plate and to what. Also is this something I can accomplish. I am 70 yrs old with arthritic hands and limited income so I would like to accomplish this as cheap as possible. Also where is it???
Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'd just slide it back a bit and tune the AFC to get to the desired output.
Both can be done from the top of the pump.
For AFC tuning you remove the plug with the allen wrench (8 or 10mm ?) and rotate the little starwheel.
For the plate you need to remove the AFC housing, 4 bolts and then the plate is held by 2 bolts. Loosen bolts, slide back about 2mm, tighten bolts, install AFC housing.
