front sway bar size??

front sway bar size??

I was looking tonite for sway bar end links and bushings. They wanna know what size the swaybar is, they give me the choose of 30, 32 and 34mm. I don't know what size it is or were to measure. and I kind of wanna know if any you guys recomend and certain brand. so far I checked out these two energy suspension or prothane.

Measure the bar diameter at the point where the bushing mounts. I think the diesel is 1-5/16" or 34 mm.

I measured 32mm. I picked up a kit of Energy Suspension bushings from Autozone, part number 5.5126G (black). Haven't installed them yet though...

Thats what I measured tonite and bought the same thing except red. I found a site online.

I'd get the black because it has lubricative properties built in. The red does not. Shouldn't really matter though.

I didn't know that. They just had a thing on there to pick a color and you could also buy grease for them also. They said greasable. I bought some grease. I figure better than stock and they probly won;t crack like stock either. just my 2 cents
