front end vibration???

Ujoints are solid. Pryed on them and no movement. Passenger side is 1 year old. I get a vibration while in 4 high from 20-40 mph and then it evens out. I have a posi-lok and keep it in this time of year in wisconsin. No vibration when locked and in 2 wheel. Only get a vibration when in 4h and powering.

I'm going to check the shaft from the transfer case to front differential, but all u joints are new in the last 2 years. Going to replace fluid in transfer case and front end.

Anything else I can check for? Any common or known problems? I just cannot figure out what would be causing the vibration. I don't hear the "clunk" associated w/ a u joint and I've checked them all over. I wonder if this is a bigger problem in the transfer case or front end. It almost feels like the back end is powering more than the front or vise versa and the wheels are skipping.

I'll have it on the lift tomorrow, suggestions???

Any dents or apparent damage to your front drive shaft? But on second thought your d shaft spins all the time anyways so it's got to do with having the drive load put on it in 4x4. Maybe d shaft u joint is going bad to the point of where your can't move it by hand but when the load of the front end in 4x4 transfers through it it is getting slop in the u joint?

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Read your owners manual about when you can run in 4H.
