Front End Clunk?

Hey Guys. Recently I have noticed that when I am hitting my brakes while turning (like into a parking spot), my front end clunks. I also noticed that the front end just feels a little looser in general.

There is a lot of stuff up there and I don't know where to start. In your experience, what are the most common things that could be the cause?

I have been driving a lot lately, and would like to prevent a fiasco on the side of the road before it happens. I appreciate any help that you can offer.

Track bar, control arm bushings, ball joints. That will give you a place to start. You may not need to replace them all but they are common sources of front end play.

Check the rubber bushing on the sway bar, if they are worn it will make a clunking sound.

About the track bar. I intended to fix that with a Luke's Link about 6 mo ago before I started having problems. That was before I realized the previous owner put a Moog on.

What would be better now that it is giving me problems? Buy an oem track bar and put the Luke's Link on, or spring for a Thuren?

OEM bar plus Luke's link will cost you about $200 plus time. Just go with a Thuren or 3rd gen conversion. It'll be easier and better than the Luke's link.
