front axle out to lunch??

after installing a 2.25" leveling kit in my truck i measured the front axle for centering and found it had pulled 1 1/8" to the drivers side ! this can be confirmed visually too. i was under the impression that it only shifts 1/16" per 1" of lift so i should be like 1/8 off center. where is that other inch coming from?? am i missing something huge here?? i will most likely be using lazersmiths offset track bar bushings to fix this as i cant afford a carli or thuren adjustable bar anyone with experience using those? i searched and only found one thread where someone had a bad experience with them, but wont make a judgement call on one opinion.
thanks

I added a 2" leveling kit on my truck and it also moved the axle enough to notice visually. I have not corrected the problem yet.. Some day I'm going to get the Thuren bar.

try an XRF 1413a, xrf website has dealers CAN/US, I got mine in the states from the tire club, call them, his name is kirt wright, very helpful.
oh and it was only $129. shipping is excessive if shipped to canada. I got mine free shipped to a us border address. worth a try, balljoints were very reasonable too $120 for all four, great reviews, worth a try on XRF stuff.
