Friend wants to buy or build big power

Ok this post may be in the wrong spot, but here goes. I have a friend who is very interested in either buying or building a 12 valve ctd. I showed him a video of a black quad cab dually pulling and he went nuts! Im sure money isnt an issue. He has a 95 ctd right now as well as a 03 duramax and a 99 chevy gas pulling truck. He was even drilling me on who owned the black ctd in the video and if the truck could be bought. What he wants to know is where and who can deliver either a built truck or how he can go about building one ( like who could build one ). We are talking big power, he is looking at sellling his gasser to build this truck. so, any ideas or shops to check out would be great. He may be posting here himself but I told him I would post something to see what I got.
'
Thanks in advance.

Probably should be in performance, but....

Call up Scheid, or Enterprise, or Piers or any of the other big company's. They can all build a heck of a motor, so all he will have to do is get them to build him a good motor/turbo combo, and throw in a good clutch/auto tranny, and traction bars, and all the other big stuff, and go with it.

If you check over on the turbodieselregistry classifieds every now and then there is some trucks that are set up or can be set up for what your buddy is lookin for. I know there was 1 that wasn't to long ago, you could buy it for the street or to pull a sled,he would do it for you. Personally, I think buyin one thats set up, takes all the fun out of it! plus, if you build it yourself, and something happens you more then likely will know what happened, and how to fix it.-{THAT AND YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF!}

I have a 94 dodge with a motor that i am still in the process of re assembling and the thought of selling has crossed my mind. Its billet camed and full race pump and tons of other goodies that are new(most mods in profile have been stepped up). i was going to go with a big single but if he was wanting twins i could accomadate him. let me know i will be more specific if he is interested.

We found a 96 on ebay from KNox, Ind. that we may be going to look at. THe owner claims 800plus hp. Otherwise my friend got ahold of Kent Crowley and is going from there. Thanks for your replies!!

Yes. That green one is a BAD truck! I have seen it pull a few times and it is mean. I personally think he better do some research before he goes and throws money to someone for something he probably has no idea how to drive or take care of. 800hp isnt your daily driver.

yes i agree, he has a 780hp gas pulling truck right now, as well as a duramax that was pumped up quite a bit. he knows power. If we go down there we will be requesting a dyno pull on that green dodge. Thats the onoy way he will spend that kind of money on a toy is if its proven.l

As long as he knows a little about how to maintain it he'll be fine. Id say that truck will probably pull around 800hp, cause it is mean. Let us know if he gets it.
