a cummins shop replaced my head gasket and drilled my exhaust manifold for a probe but i did not tell them where so they drilled out my back mounting point where my heater pipes normaly mount and built a bracket for the pipes. the probe should go in the path of the exhaust so do you think it will work? my gauges are gonna be in by tuesday so any help would be great

 

Depending on the depth of your new probe it should be OK, you want the tip of the probe to be centered in the exhaust stream. Its not optimal, but if you don't like it, just plug it off and drill one in the spot near the turbo.

I have never heard of drilling in that location before..
