Question Engine will not start/turn over

Recently, our Dodge 2500 began having starting problems. When you turn the ignition, you hear the starting solenoid click however the engine will not turn over. Both batteries are fully charged, the alternator is working perfectly, all battery cables are firmly attached... after a couple of attempts, the engine will eventually crank (anywhere from a 1 minute to a 1 hour effort). Any ideas?
thanks!

Replace the starter contacts.
Get new ones here http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm

In the meantime you can usually get the starter to kick in by tapping on it with a hammer, rock or whatever you find nearby.

contacts...easy job...u can get them matched up at any starter place..same with the plunger...they cost me 10$ plunger and 5$ contacts up here...or u can get them from fosters....hardest part is the removal of the top bolt of the starter...they're 10mm ..use the star shaped part of ur wrenches
