well, i've had problem's with my egt's in the past, actually not really problem's but they were a little low with what i've got in my truck. i thought it was my guage, so i swapped it out with a buddy of mines, same result. at wot it barely hits 900. the truck is fast, but not fast enough as i think it would be. at 15 mpg i guess mileage is alright. i had the timing set but i'm pretty sure it slipped again. could low fuel pressure cause this, it still has quite a bit of power, and stumbles at 1200 degrees which is common with the 370's. any advice, i have a little extra cash to blow, im replacing the fuel lines tomorrow, maybe that will help. by the way the probe is preturbo.

 

I would think that it is very possible that low fuel preasure could result in Lower power and lower than normal EGT's. The truck in my sig can hit alot higher and it just got 21.5 MPG.

 

Where is the pyro pickup located before or after the turbo?

 

I'm pretty sure he's got it pre turbo.
