Driver's side oil leak.....

I know I should get my truck pressure washed/steam cleaned on that side first but any ideas what could be leaking if there's oil coming down from somewhere midway up the block around the fuel pump on the drivers side. Too much gunk to tell right now but the oil drips onto the diff on that side only and the aforementioned area is all gunked up....

Sounds like the cover on the side behind the fuel pump. I understand that it is a real PITA to fix.

If it's the timing case cover it wouldn't be any harder to fix than fixing the KDP , if it's the gasket between the case itself and the block that's a much bigger job which requires pulling the cam too. Good luck.
You might be able to tighten the cover bolts and solve the problem.

Thanks the kdp was tabbed some time back so I'm pretty sure it's nothing to do with the front main or timing case cover however it's obvious to me now with oil splattered all over the place there's no obvious culprit so I'll be getting her cleaned asap to see what's going on.
thanks for the help!

Vacuum pump seal? This is a common cause of oil leaking in the area you described.

Yup that's it! Just got it on a hoist today and the blowby tube is chucking out some too. Just had my 4" catback upgraded to full 4" turbo back so hopefully that'll help with the crankcase pressure

The Plot Thickens.....

Well before getting it fixed I ran a dye diagnostic test in the engine oil and whaddya know....
My old friend the timing cover and maybe front main are causing the leak. That was supposedly fixed by BD Power last spring. Guess that works out cheaper then
