Different hp/tq ratings for 12v?
12 Valve B
* 160 hp with 400 lb-ft

* 180 hp with 420 lb-ft - Dodge only
* 190 hp with 475 lb-ft
* 210 hp with 520 lb-ft
* 215 hp with 440 lb-ft - Dodge only
* 230 hp with 650 lb-ft
Got that off www.dodgeram.org.
I'm curious as to how the same 12v engine can have 210 hp and 520 lb-ft torque in one case and 215 hp and 440 lb-ft torque in another. Is it timing? Different internals? Just curious to know what causes the difference...

I have a 210HP/520TQ motor it has a HX35/14WG and timing is 12.5*, I do not know what shape the fuel plate is yet but I have a No 10 to go in but it is only supposed to up the power to 230HP/630TQ. It is a road engine and so is a 230HP/630TQ which I could have bought enstead but I preferred the condition of the one I got. The 230HP/630TQ motor still had a HX35/14 on it but not sure about the timing, The pump has to be the difference could be DV's or the cam in the pump.
