Dana 80

Will dana 80 rear axle out of '01 2500 4x4 work on '97 3500 2 wheel dually?

it should work. Disc brakes or not ?

Neither one has disc brakes. Will there be anything I will need to transfer from the dually axle to the 2500 axle?

measure the wms to wms (wheel mounting surface) if you are putting a srw in a drw it might be wider. the wheel studs are probably gonna be different lengths too.

Are you converting it to SRW? The dually axle is wider, and the way the drums are on the SRW, you won't get dually rims on it unless you get adapters on it. The housings themselves are different, you won't be able to just swap hubs.
