Crossmember?

Hey everyone. I'm getting ready to switch out my automatic for an nv4500 in my 4x4. I was wondering if there were 2 different crossmembers, one for auto and the other for manual. Or is there a way that I can use my auto crossmember? I've only got driveshafts, transfercase input, and shifter left to get. And possibly the crossmember if i need it. Does anybody thats done this know the easiest way to go about getting to the pedal assembly? Also I'm going with a 13" clutch, do I need a starter spacer for this? Sorry for all the questions, I just would like to get all my ducks in a row before I tear into this monster.

the automatic pedal assy just pull the e-clip, slide the rod out pull the brake pedal and put the new pedals in and put the rod back in and e-clip, you dont have to change the whole piece under dash then you will have a switch thats on the clutch master cyl, with 2 wires on it . run 1 to ground the other goes to the plug where the netural safty switch is now i dont recall the color of wire, its a plug with 3 wires the other 2 wires in the plug go to the back up lites wire them to the switch on top of tranny. the speedo has a plug with 3 wires if yours has 3 just wire it up, mine only had 2 so i had to try a couple of times. i dont know about the crossmember on 4wd mines 2wd i had to cut one in half and weld the center out of one to the other and make a new mount for the carrier bearing and cut 2 inches of the spline end of shaft. hope that helps .

Hey thanks. I was also just wondering if it was easier to take off the lower dash panel to get to the pedals. I'm just trying to find the easiest way to go about this whole thing. I've only got a few days to do the whole thing and just need to get all the parts ready to go on.
