core charge
Correct me if im wrong, but the core charge is deducted from the listed price and refunded when you return the old one right?! So if i get some thing for 100 with a 50 core charge im really only paying 50 when it's all said and done right?

No, the core charge is added to the listed price and the money is refunded when the core is returned. If the item costs $100 with a $50 core charge you'll need $150 up front. (plus the tax on $150)
