cooling problem
cooling problem
last weekend i had alot of cooling issues with the motor i just put in. all i did when i put it in was pull the head so its got a new head gasket and all new head bolts. but last weekend i ran 250 miles haulin heavy and about every 50 miles the lower radiator hose would blow off. during that 50m. the water temp where in check at around 180-190 deg then with no warning the lower hose would blow off. so i put it back on refill with water no antifreeze (my dad was behind me with the rv so i had lots of water and no antifreeze) then the temp would be great for 50-60mi. then it would blow the hose off. it happend one more time before i got to my destination. so i put a new radiator cap on to start with the small things and i put a screw type clamp on the hose then on the way home pullin out goosneck flatbed empty home it started getting hot so i pulled over and the hose was still on but had water coming out of the head gasket on exh side and oil coming out of the intake side back by #6 . so at that point i loaded the truck on to the trailer and had DieselDan come and pick me and the truck up. what r ur guys thoughts? i have not been having good luck with this truck
any help would be greatful thank you
