Cheap shutoff solenoid fix????

Hey guys. I found this on a site that I have seen Infidel post several times. They have really cheap gauges etc. This is pretty similar to what is on our trucks, and has a 3/4 inch pull up to 6 lbs(plenty), and says is for continuous duty. My shutoff solenoid works great, but if it ever goes out, I think I would give this a try. Cant beat the price. Maybe modify the mounting bracket to work, and wire up the connector off your old solenoid. Seems to me it would be worth a try? What do you guys think? Any reason it wouldnt work?

Good find but I think it might take less fabricating just to rig up choke type cable for shut down.

You are probably right, but I would rather have it electric if I could. The choke cable works, just cant say I care much for it.
